2. Information we collect

We may collect identity and contact information such as name, email, mobile number, business name, designation, address, PAN, GSTIN, CIN, beneficial owner details, and authorised signatory information. For onboarding and compliance, we may collect KYC documents, bank account details, cancelled cheques, business registration documents, website or app details, and declarations related to business activity.

3. Transaction, financial, and verification data

When services are used, we may process payment references, payout instructions, settlement records, refund and chargeback details, UPI IDs, bank account validation results, verification responses, API request logs, webhook events, reconciliation data, timestamps, and transaction status information. We do not sell transaction data for advertising purposes.

4. Technical and usage information

We may collect IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, session information, API keys and request metadata, error logs, dashboard activity, feature usage, cookies, and similar diagnostic information. This helps us secure the platform, prevent fraud, maintain uptime, debug integrations, and improve product performance.

5. How we use information

We use information to provide payment gateway, POS, QR, payout, verification, and connected banking services; process merchant onboarding; complete KYC and risk checks; authenticate users; process transactions; generate reports; provide customer support; communicate product or compliance updates; prevent fraud; meet legal and regulatory obligations; and improve Promethora products.

6. Data sharing and disclosure

We may share relevant information with banks, payment networks, acquiring partners, KYC and verification providers, cloud and technology vendors, analytics and security providers, auditors, professional advisers, and government or regulatory authorities where required. These disclosures are limited to legitimate business, service, compliance, security, or legal purposes. We do not rent or sell personal information for third-party marketing.

7. Data storage and retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal and regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, complete audits, and support security monitoring. KYC, transaction, settlement, tax, and audit records may be retained for statutory periods. When information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymise, or archive it using appropriate safeguards.
